Two-for-One

The above photo is a card I made for my brother-in-law and his wife for their anniversary. I really like the Stampin' Up! set called "Fifth Avenue Floral" and used it here with some watercolor pencils to give it dimension.

The above card is a blank notecard I made. I have used my scalloped edge punch for a lot of cards and think it adds a nice touch.

Both cards are very lovely! I really like the yellow and green of the anniversary card. They will love it!

Thanks, Barb! I have made several cards in kind of the same way... carying the layout and color scheme a bit. It has been kind of fun!

Giving a hand made card is such a thoughtful thing to do. It would not only relay a message but would be a keepsake. Great idea.

Hi, Faye! I agree... I put more feeling into making a card, too.. more than I can get out into words sometimes. That's when I really love paper crafting, when you can relay the thought like that.

I love the anniversary card!

I also love the Fanciful Flowers card -- that is still one of my all-time favorite sets. =)
